Sometimes Being a parent to children with special educational needs can feel incredibly lonely. You carry so much on your shoulders, yet the support you hope for never seems to arrive. Family members say no when you ask for help, friends drift away, and sometimes it feels like the people who should care the most are embarrassed to be seen with you and your children. Even simple things like going out for a meal become overwhelming, because you’re so aware of how different your children seem to others and how quickly people judge. It’s hard not to feel like a failure when outsiders look at you as if you’re a weak mum, or label your children as “feral” without understanding their needs or your efforts. There is just no support—no one ever offers to take your children so you can de-stress, no one willing to have them overnight so you can recharge, no one to step in to help in any way, no one who truly understands what you carry every day. The emotional weight, the physical exhaustion, and the mental strain pile up, and some days it feels impossible. You love your children fiercely, but the journey can be isolating, overwhelming, and utterly draining in ways that are difficult for anyone else to imagine.
    Its sad 🥺😭😩
